(1900-1980) Фромм, ЭрихПсихолог и социолог немецкого происхождения [ German-Americans], один из главных представителей неофрейдизма. Эмигрировал в США в 1933. Опирался на идеи З. Фрейда, К. Маркса, экзистенциалистов. Внес большой вклад в развитие философии, психологии, антропологии, истории и социологии религии. Отошел от биологизма Фрейда в стремлении выяснить связь между психикой индивида и социальной структурой общества. Выдвинул проект создания в США гармоничного общества на основе психоаналитической "социальной и индивидуальной терапии".
