101 Shaker Motion
A mechanical device used on looms for weaving leno fabrics. Its purpose is to lift the ends under which the crossing threads pass to the centre of the shed. Without the motion these ends would remain at the bottom of the shed and prevent satisfactory movement of the crossing ends. -
