секундная коррекция
Периодическое добавление или вычитание секунды из всемирного координированного времени (UTC). Операция выполняется для приведения его в соответствие со средним гринвичским временем (GMT). Секундная коррекция проводится по мере необходимости в последний день полугодия, т.е. обычно 31 декабря или 30 июня, если расхождение шкал превышает значение, определяемое из условия 1 UTC-GMT i Z 0,9.
