1) Water stored in soils.
2) One of the most important elements involved in pedological processes and plant growth. There are three basic forms:
a) water adhering in thin films by molecular attraction to the surface of soil particles and not available for plants is termed hygroscopic water.
b) Water forming thicker films and occupying the smaller pore spaces is termed capillary water. Since it is held against the force of gravity it is permanently available for plant growth and it is this type of soil water which contains plant nutrients in solution.
c) Water in excess of hygroscopic and capillary water is termed gravitational water, which is of a transitory nature because it flows away under the influence of gravity. When the excess has drained away the amount of water retained in the soil is termed its field capacity, when some of its pore spaces are still free of water.

Star-delta starting is the best known system and perhaps the commonest starting system at reduced voltage; it is used to start the motor reducing the mechanical stresses and limiting the current values during starting; on the other hand, it makes available a reduced inrush torque.This system can be used for motors with terminal box with 6 terminals and double supply voltage.
It is particularly suitable for no-load starting or with low and constant load torque or lightly increasing load torque, such as in the case of fans or low power centrifugal pumps.
Making reference to the diagram of Figure 6, the starting modality foresees the initial phase with star-connection of the windings to be realized through the closing of the circuit-breaker, of the line contactor KL and of the star contactor KY.
After a suitable predetermined period of time, the opening of the contactor KY and the closing of KΔ allow switching to delta-connection, which is also the configuration of normal running position.

Схема пуска переключением со звезды на треугольник представлена на рисунке 6. В начальный момент пуска обмотки статора соединяют звездой путем замыкания контактов автоматического выключателя, линейного контактора KL и контактора KY со схемой "звезда".
По истечении заданного времени контакты контактора KY размыкаются и замыкаются контакты контактора КΔ со схемой треугольник.
В результате выполняется переключение обмоток статора со схемы «звезда» на схему «треугольник».
Обе схемы соединения обмоток являются схемами нормального рабочего режима.

There is now a whole arsenal of chemicals with which to combat agricultural pests and diseases, but this development has itself many drawbacks. Such sophisticated techniques are available only to a minority of farmers; in most parts of the world the standard of crop protection remains abysmally low. In addition, modern crop protection methods have been criticized for relying too heavily on chemical control. Biological controls, both natural and contrived, have been neglected. 1. Процесс нахождения экстремума функции, т.е. выбор наилучшего варианта из множества возможных, процесс выработки оптимальных решений; 2. Процесс приведения системы в наилучшее (оптимальное) состояние. Иначе говоря, первое определение трактует термин «О.» как факт выработки и принятия оптимального решения (в широком смысле этих слов); мы выясняем, какое состояние изучаемой системы будет наилучшим с точки зрения предъявляемых к ней требований (критерия оптимальности) и рассматриваем такое состояние как цель. В этом смысле применяется также термин «субоптимизация» в случаях, когда отыскивается оптимум по какому-либо одному критерию из нескольких в векторной задаче оптимизации (см. Оптимальность по Парето, Векторная оптимизация). Второе определение имеет в виду процесс выполнения этого решения: т.е. перевод системы от существующего к искомому оптимальному состоянию. В зависимости от вида используемых критериев оптимальности (целевых функций или функционалов) и ограничений модели (множества допустимых решений) различают скалярную О., векторную О., мно¬гокритериальную О., стохастическую О (см.
