иодиды
Химич. соединения иода с др. эл-тами. И. многих металлов — соли иодистоводородной к-ты. Типичными солями являются и. металлов I и II групп Периодич. системы элементов. Большинство из них хорошо растворимы в воде (кроме Agl, Cu2I2 Hg2I2). И. металлов III—IV групп, так же как и и. неметаллов (В, Si, P, As, Sb), легкоплавки. При нагревании они легко диссоциируют на эл-т и иод, что используется для получения особочистых металлов (Ti, Zr, W и др.). И. получают непосредств. взаимодействием эл-тов, взаимодействием оксидов или карбонатов с иодистоводородной кислотой (или иодом) при 400-700 °С.
