органическое соединение, насыщенный спирт алициклического ряда (2-изопропил-5метилциклогексанол) с мятным запахом и холодящим эффектом. Содержится в эфирных маслах перечной и японской мяты, в небольших количествах в гераниевом и некоторых других маслах. Применяется в пищевых ароматизаторах, используется для приготовления зубных паст, конфет, ликеров, а также лекарственных препаратов (напр., валидола).
