Pesik. R. s. 41, end מי שהוא מ׳ לסעודה he who is invited to the feast. Ib. (expl. מקראי, Is. 48:12) מְזוּמָּנִי my invited guest (Israel); a. e.b) designated, chosen. Ber.43a הוא מ׳ לברכה he is the one designated (by the host) to say grace. Ab.
