сущ. бушприт – рангоутное дерево, укрепленное на носу судна горизонтально или под некоторым углом к горизонтальной плоскости (около 35 градусов). К бушприту крепится стоячий такелаж стеньг передней мачты, а также такелаж косых парусов – кливеров. На больших судах бушприт делался составным: продолжение бушприта составляет утлегарь, а продолжение утлегаря – бом-утлегарь. -
