1.BARE, NAKED, NUDE Синонимы bare и naked 'голый, обнаженный' имеют неодинаковую сочетаемость с существительными. Bare сочетается с существительными, обозначающими части тела: bare feet, bare legs, bare head, bare chest, bare neck, bare arms (реже в таких сочетаниях встречается naked: naked hands). Naked употребляется с существительным body, а также со словами, обозначающими человеческое существо, такими, как child, man, woman: naked body, naked boy и т. д. Naked в сочетании с существительным eye означает 'невооруженный' (т. е. без очков, без микроскопа, без телескопа и т. д.). Naked в сочетании с sword имеет значение 'вынутый из ножен, обнаженный'. Bare и naked могут определять одни и те же конкретные существительные, являющиеся названиями предметов, например: bare trees и naked trees, bare branches и naked branches. В метафорическом значении 'неприкрашенный' bare и naked могут взаимозаменяться: bare (naked) truth, bare (naked) facts. Nude 'нагой, обнаженный' обычно употребляется как термин в живописи и скульптуре: nude statue, nude model. 2.
