специфическая форма биотических связей в отдельных географических регионах, выражающихся во взаимном влиянии растений и микроорганизмов в сообществах посредством выделения во внешнюю среду физиологически активных веществ. В одних случаях эти вещества оказывают угнетающее (ингибирующее) действие, в других — стимулирующее. Так, выделяемые некоторыми микроорганизмами антибиотики (см. антибиотики) угнетают другие микроорганизмы, а маразмины вызывают завядание высших растений. Высшие растения продуцируют фитонциды, угнетающие жизнедеятельность микроорганизмов, и колины, тормозящие развитие других высших растений. А. — один из факторов, регулирующих отношения растений в фитоценозе, поэтому явление А. учитывается при создании смешанных посевов и введении севооборотов. Вариант А. — явление утомления почв.
