«Бёрбон-стрит»улица Бурбонов ( в Новом Орлеане). Главная улица французской части Нового Орлеана. Для многих туристов вечерний Новый Орлеан — это Бёрбон-стрит, которую иногда сравнивают с парижским Монмартром; для новоорлеанцев ассоциируется с весёлым времяпрепровождением, кутежами, игрой в карты и т.п. Хотя улица названа в честь французской королевской династии Бурбонов, у неё значительно больше общего с виски того же назв., которого здесь в изобилии. Круглые сутки звучит музыка, исполняемая джаз-бандами в кафе, ресторанах и барах. По всей улице бесконечные места увеселений сомнительной репутации, стриптиза, порно- шоу ( рассматриваемые воочию и через замочную скважину [peep shows]). Центрами ночной жизни улицы являются рестораны «Кузница Лаффита» [‘Laffite's Blacksmith Shop'], «Дом старого абсента» [‘Old Absinthe House'] и «Сумасшедший Шерли» [‘Crazy Shirley's']США.
