Топливная проходная печь напрерывного действия, в которой продукты сгорания жидкого или газообразного топлива (при торцевом отоплении) и нагреваемые материалы движутся в одном направлении. В прямоточной печи конечная температурa нагреваемого материала всегда ниже температуры отходящих газов, что менее эффективно по сравнению с противоточной печью.
